The dining area features a unique ambiance, with period furnishings that evoke a sense of character. The restaurant offers a varied menu, though our experience was not ideal, it did suggest a diverse culinary offering.
No storage facilities made our five-night stay a hassle—ridiculous for any place. The bathroom lacked any shelf for toiletries, leaving us scrambling for storage. Dinner took an hour, and the food barely met expectations. The nearby A4066 is louder than a Wookiee's roar, especially during the early hours with traffic noise. Loud music and ongoing building work felt intrusive. The lounge area I was expecting simply didn’t exist. With so much chaos, mediocrity is the only word that sums it all up. we checked out after just two nights.

What a lovely find! Spent one night in a charming room that felt super homey. The staff are amazing – shout out to Charlie for helping me with my pup’s crate! The food at the bar was top-notch, and the locals were really friendly. Just wish the parking was a bit more spacious.

The breakfast included freshly baked pastries and a delightful array of fresh fruits. I loved how the locals mingled in the bar, creating a warm community vibe. One suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the wifi connectivity, as it was a bit slow at times.
